Fundraising Policy

To achieve our objectives we have to raise vital funds by carrying out fundraising.

Outlined below is an overview of fundraising activities, how we generate funds and what we spend the funds on;-

  • We receive most of our financial support from individuals through a range of activities in which our supporters and volunteers assist our fundraising activities. These include organised fundraising events, collections, donations and will legacies .
  • We aim to build lasting support from institutional bodies, such bodies include statutory grant funders, trusts and corporate businesses.
  • We also generate income from the sale of materials that support our work such as images and educational material

Nominate HAWCS as your charity of the year.

Improve team building and communication throughout your organisation by fundraising for HAWCS. Help us raise funds for our current projects whilst building moral and increasing enjoyment and a sense of pride in your workplace.

We have lots of fun fundraising ideas to support you and your own suggestions are welcomed.

Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship is a way for small, medium and large businesses to donate on an annual basis to support the work of HAWCS. This will enable us to budget in the knowledge that we have a regular income from a reliable source.

Help Us To Plan An Event

We plan a yearly event with live music, entertainment, raffles and auctions. If you love planning and organising and want to help us to make this years’ event bigger and better, we would love to hear from you.

Campaign With Us

If you are passionate about campaigning and want to get involved, we are currently looking for volunteers to join us in our next street collection.

Share Your Ideas and Join Our Marketing Department

We are always looking for people to help with administration, advertising and to help us manage our social networks as well as creative minds to help plan projects and events.

Educators and Presenters

We are currently looking for volunteers who may want to get involved in our education programme. Are you a confident speaker, enjoy working with children and would like to educate young minds about wildlife conservation. We do not have volunteer positions that involve working with animals hands on, which is what we would all love to do, however, this is an opportunity to meet new people that share a passion and want to make a difference.
