We fundraise in a fair and responsible way and ensure funds are spent in the most effective way to provide educational support to organisations in the field of conservation of wildlife and their habitats, to provide support and monetary donations to the projects and people working directly in the field.
As part of our policies, we ensure that fundraising is conducted to the highest quality and that practices and procedures are in place and closely adhered to – particularly in protecting individuals who may be in vulnerable circumstances.
Fundraisers working voluntarily are given guidelines and a volunteer pack and we will risk assess our fundraising events.
The Habitat and Wildlife Conservation Society complies with the Data Protection Act and the Information Commissioner’s guides and code and are compliant with their requirements. Whilst we endeavour to provide an exemplary service, we do not always get it right. Our website outlines our complaints policy for the public and clearly explains how an individual can complain.
