{"id":83,"date":"2020-05-15T15:29:55","date_gmt":"2020-05-15T15:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-505433-1704336.cloudwaysapps.com\/?post_type=news-events&#038;p=83"},"modified":"2022-09-02T15:42:52","modified_gmt":"2022-09-02T15:42:52","slug":"hawcs-launch-event","status":"publish","type":"news-events","link":"https:\/\/hawcs.org.uk\/news-events\/hawcs-launch-event\/","title":{"rendered":"HAWCS Launch Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Launch Event<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>17<sup>th<\/sup> May 2020<\/p>\n<p>Place Hotel Manchester<\/p>\n<p>This event was held to launch the Habitat And Wildlife Conservation Society (HAWCS) charity, to the press, the public and University of Salford, in particular members of the teaching faculty in Wildlife Conservation Degree and Masters course.<\/p>\n<p>The Charity\u2019s trustee\u2019s were present and charity Patron\u00a0 Katherine Kelly.\u00a0 Entertainment was provided by Angie Brown,\u00a0 Victor Haynes, and Mirren Blundell. Photographs of Sumatra and Sumatran wildlife were exhibited by Kirsteen Coates. The promotional Video filmed by Paul Turley was shown. We thank all who were involved in promoting and participating in the event with special thanks to Sam Wall and Debbie Manley for P.R. and to the University of Salford, Wildlife and Conservation department for their support and attendance.
